What is required for the application of the tourist visa in case of entry through the land and in case of entry by the air?
All foreign travelers to Turkmenistan require a visa. Travelers from countries, which have a Turkmenistan embassy, consulate or diplomatic representative, must purchase their visa in their home country or in any Turkmen embassies located close to your home country/location before departing for Turkmenistan. Otherwise, they will be sent back on the next available flight.

OrexCA.com can provide you with an invitation - visa support letter (essential to obtain a visa) for a maximum stay of 2 weeks. Obtaining official government approval of the invitation letter usually takes 10 working OR 25 calendar days by the State Immigration Service of Turkmenistan (This is new Governmental Service). In order to get a letter of invitation confirmed by the of the State Immigration Service of Turkmenistan, you"re required to provide OrexCA.com with the following personal details:

It is required to submit a passport copy of traveller to the state immigration service of turkmenistan to get an approved invitation letter.

All other visitors can purchase a visa from the local authorities on arrival. Again, however, a letter of invitation from a company registered in Turkmenistan, endorsed in writing by the Turkmen Immigration Office, is required and must be presented to the immigration officers on arrival. The visa fee for Turkmenistan is US$ 61  upon arrival in Saparmurat Turkmenbashy International Airport.

And one more important thing:
According to the new decree the State Committee for Tourism & Sport of Turkmenistan will issue TRAVEL ENTRY PASS for every tourists to pass on them by  OrexCA.com" representative before passport control on each borders.

Second important thing:
All tourists must be registrated in at City Tourism Board. Registration fee is US$ 5  per person. Sometimes we include this fee into tour cost as it depends on tour cost. Please bring with the following documents as:

    1) Valid Passport;  
    2) 2 photos (3 x 4 cm);
    3) Passport copies (2 copies).

In case you agree to get your Turkmen visas at Turkmen borders we always send our representative to the hotel where you stay at Khiva or Urgench in Uzbekistan. In this case you has to pay additionally US$ 30 for our representatives"  transport expenses. As he always go to Urgench or Khiva to bring visa application forms for tourists to fill in & collect all passports with visa fee to arrange Turkmen visas in case you get visas at borders at Visa Dept.Offices of the State Immigration Service of Turkmenistan in Dashoguz, located in the north of Turkmenistan only on working days (Monday,Tuesday,Thursday,Friday). However, sometimes visa person goes himself to Farab border in the east of Turkmenistan to issue Turkmen visas on spot for Foreign Travelers.

Please note that Visa Departments don"t work on Wednesday, Saturday,Sunday & during Public Holidays, as those days are DAYOFF.

3) How many days are required for issuing the visa?
You should to provide OrexCA.com with passport data at least on 25 days before the arrival date to issue a visa support & provide with rooming list on 10 days before arrival date at the latest. To issue a Turkmen visa at Turkmen Embassies abroad takes 2-3 days maximum. However you have to contact them directly.

Upon arrival in Ashgabat Int.Airport nobody requires to fill in the visa application form. However if you get visas at Turkmen borders ,so it is a responsibility of our representative to bring visa application forms to fill in 1 or 2 days prior your group arrival in Turkmenistan as it required by SIS.
